“boomtown beijing”, a film about beijing’s growth explosion in the leadup to the 2008 olympics, premieres in suzhou, with an introduction plus question and answer session with internationally acclaimed director tan siok siok.

boomtown beijing offers a rare, intimate glimpse into the city of beijing, its people and their dreams in the long hot summer leading up to the olympics, a year when the eyes of the world are turned upon china.
